Saved From Death For FreeSample
Saved to Serve
We are not saved by good works. We are saved for good works. We are saved so that we can serve God.
Amazingly, God has prepared a lifetime of good works in advance for each one of us. We simply need to be available, willing, obedient, and alert to his promptings and leadings. This is your destiny, your purpose, your calling. Don’t miss the journey of love and servanthood that God has for you. There are prayers to pray, offerings to give, spiritual gifts to leverage. Be all that God wants you to be, for you have a vital role in the kingdom.
Each day varies. Perhaps today there is a friend who needs encouraging, or a colleague who needs forgiving, or a stranger at Wal-Mart who needs a smile and sincere greeting.
Perhaps your daughter needs to be affirmed, or your spouse needs to be listened to and understood, or a friend needs to be invited to church.
Each day becomes an adventure with God. Every day, say to Him, Lord, I’m available to you today however you want to use me, for whoever you bring in my life. Lead me, O Lord.
God uses people to show his love and compassion. God uses ordinary people like you and me.
Are you ready? Are you available? Are you alert to his leadings?

About this Plan
In Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, he addresses many questions to the church about the nature of their relationship with their Savior. These selections from Ephesians 2 are a reflection on the sinful world’s desperate need for salvation, the unique and transformative gift of God’s grace, the nearness to God that the believer can experience as a result.
