What Are You Called To?Sample
Called to Disciple
In Matthew 28 Jesus commissioned his disciples. He also commissioned us.
He told us to go. To make disciples. To teach them about the words of Jesus.
This is the last thing he told us.
There is not a spiritual gift of discipleship. We all carry the ability and calling to not only tell people about Jesus but to walk with them so they grow in Jesus.
This doesn’t depend on where you are, or what your vocation is. If you’re struggling in finding your calling in life, consider the discipleship opportunities in front of you right where you are.
Discipling others takes time and commitment, but it’s something you are equipped to do. Jesus promised he’d be with you, walking with you as you disciple.
In 1 Corinthians 11, Paul said something simple but bold. He said, “Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.” If you are committed to Jesus and a life spent imitating him, then simply take time to invest and teach others.
You are called to disciple.
Action: Pause and ask God for names. Names of people you could take out to coffee. Maybe take through a book or start a small Bible study. Ask God to show you the people you can take time to invest in so that they grow in their walk with Jesus.

About this Plan
As humans, we have the uncanny ability to make the easy, difficult. One of the things we tend to make so mystical and complicated is this thing we refer to as “calling.” But the Bible gives us many places to start when we don't know what to do. It’s not a calling based on new trends or our vocation. God’s calling is for today. Right now. Let’s dive in!
