GODLINESS 

When you are transformed into the image of God, you receive total deliverance through the Holy Spirit. Having received the Holy Spirit, you revere the Lord and humble yourself before Him. And thus you clothe yourself with Godliness, as required by our Heavenly Father. Furthermore, you are transformed into the likeness of God, receiving glory upon glory; living a life free of any kind of fear. However, there are two kinds of fear; fear that comes from the devil and the other is Godly fear. When you are not cautious, the devil leads you to commit sin, thus bringing fear in your life. And it becomes hard for you live in this fear. You gradually get enslaved to it and are devoid of God’s blessings.

On the contrary- the Godly fear adds length to life. With God’s fear you have a secure fortress. Not only that, the fear of the Lord is a fountain of life and it teaches a man wisdom. The coming of Jesus in this world is to banish all the works of the evil one and the fear that the devil plants in your life. Through the suffering that Jesus underwent on the cross, will remove this fear and grant you confidence, long life, wisdom and godliness. Only He makes you holy and enables you to become His children.

Reflection

Today, surrender your lives to God; then all your fear will vanish and you will be able to bear the image of God. You will be able to live in this world joyfully as a child of God.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I surrender myself to you. Remove all the fear that the devil has planted in my life. I seek your Grace to lead a pious life. Deliver me from all the bondages and grant me holy boldness. In Jesus’ most precious name I pray. Amen.
