5 Things You Can Count On From GodSample
#5 - He Is for You – Declare It!
As we conclude this devotional series, let’s take the opportunity to say what God says. There is power in your words! There’s no better way to believe you can count on God than by declaring His Word for your own life. Go ahead, say it out loud and put God’s power into motion!
READ THIS: If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)
DECLARE THIS: “God is for me. He loves me! Nothing that has happened and none of my questions can stand between Him and me.”
READ THIS: He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] (Hebrews 13:5, AMP)
DECLARE THIS: “God will not fail me! He won’t leave me helpless or without His support. He has hold of me—He won’t let go of me.”
READ THIS: The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. (Psalm 118:6)
DECLARE THIS: “I have no reason to be afraid. No matter what has happened, God hasn’t lost His hold on me and He is on my side. That means the greater power is with me.”
READ THIS: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:9–10)
DECLARE THIS: “I may not be able to see and hear right now what God is doing, but I believe He is revealing what I need to know by His Spirit. I hear His voice—He leads and guides me. He has prepared great things for me!”
READ THIS: Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised. (Hebrews 10:23)
DECLARE THIS: “My God is faithful! I will hold onto that. I know that God honors His promises. He will keep working things out for me. I trust Him to do it—I believe He’s doing it right now.”
