The Harvest Is Ready
It takes great faith to engage a command despite the seeming impossibility of its accomplishment.
It’s not a flippant thing to engage a hostile world with God’s truth. Jesus clearly lays out the potential resistance and hindrances. We are instructed to pray and go. Prayer clears the path of resistance while forging boldness and confidence within us, not because of our ability or strength but because of the strength and ability of the Lord of the harvest. The harvest is His. It belongs to Him.
“As lambs among wolves” hardly sounds like a winning position, but the nature of the gospel message is reconciliation to God and each other through the life of Jesus. Whether or not that reconciliation happens is not up to us. It is not our job to change hearts and minds, but rather to be faithful to go and share the message. It is the Holy Spirit’s job to convict of sin and change hearts, but these are the tasks assigned to us:
1. Pray.
2. Go.
3. Speak reconciliation and peace.
Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. —Mathew 28:19-20 (NIV)
THE HARVEST IS WAITING FOR YOU… GET READY!
The outcome is entirely upon the Lord of the harvest, but nothing at all will happen without faithful laborers.

About this Plan
The harvest is waiting for you… get ready! It is always God’s heart to partner with us. Jesus told us that the harvest is ready, but the laborers are few. Therefore, He instructs us to pray for more laborers even as we go out into the field. The harvest is waiting for you… get ready!
