DAY 5 OF 5

Be Faithful and Trust God

Farming is a lot of work, and each stage of the process is equally important. You cannot have a harvest without preparation, tilling, sowing, and fertilizing. All of these elements are necessary and work in relationship together. The farmer must be diligent in each season.

When you share the love of Jesus, you plant a seed that can bear fruit. When Jesus tells the disciples to go and speak peace, He doesn’t promise that everyone will respond well. But that doesn’t mean we don’t do the work. Evangelism is not about the outcome. You may never know the impact you have on someone, but it still matters to God. He sees your simple obedience, and each stage of the harvest will receive a reward.

Whether you plant the seed, water it, or reap the harvest, the pay is the same. Only God can bring forth the increase.

It’s not our job to change people's hearts and minds. It’s our job to sow good seeds, water them, and reap a harvest when it’s ready. It’s a process requiring time, cultivation, relationship, and real effort.

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. —1 Corinthians 3:6 (ESV)

THE HARVEST IS WAITING FOR YOU… GET READY!

The pressure is not on us to make something happen. It’s God’s job to reveal Jesus to the human heart, but He uses us as a vehicle to show that new life is available. We must sow that seed.

Day 4

About this Plan

EncounterLife Jesus' Model

The harvest is waiting for you… get ready! It is always God’s heart to partner with us. Jesus told us that the harvest is ready, but the laborers are few. Therefore, He instructs us to pray for more laborers even as we go out into the field. The harvest is waiting for you… get ready!
