Can’t Stop Won’t Stop

You have been given eternal life when you have the power of Jesus living inside you. We have a hope that we can look forward to everyday. We have a best friend that is never going to leave us. Jesus is not only there when things are going great, but He is there even more during times of need. Sometimes our life gets hard, really hard. We can see that now with what is happening in the world around us. We are presented with horrible news every day, but the thing about presents is you get to choose whether you’re going to take it or not. When you wake up you can choose to let the things of this world affect you in a way that makes you lose your confidence, your hope, control of your emotions, and ultimately leads you to stop giving grace and forgiveness.  Or you can choose to live with the freedom, hope, love, and mercy that is gifted to you every day from Jesus. I want to be able to wake up with a “CAN’T STOP, WON’T STOP” mentality every day. 

I believe the decisions we make today prepare us for the challenges we may face tomorrow! We need to be invested in the idea that we CAN’T STOP, WON’T STOP being in the word, in prayer, in relationship with Jesus, we CAN’T STOP, WON’T STOP building our dreams with other people, and we CAN’T STOP, WON’T STOP being ourselves. I think with these things in mind we set ourselves up for a win beyond measure. The Bible tells us here in Galatians that a HARVEST is coming if we do not give up.

This same idea applies to our friendships and the people in our world’s that have yet to meet Jesus. I just want to be available. I want to be the type of person that is always there when someone needs me, no matter how big the problem or how crazy the circumstance. I want to be the type of person that will always stand in the gap for everyone and anyone. WHY? Because, that’s what Jesus did for me! I was down and out. I thought my sin and the things I was doing were so separated from who I knew God had called me to be, so there was no way Jesus could still love me, no way I could step foot in his church, no way I could live out my God-given purpose.  

I love the fact that we serve a CAN’T STOP, WON’T STOP GOD. Nothing gets in the way of His love for you and nothing will stop him from getting back what is rightfully his. I love that Jesus arrested my heart; He used the person that was dearest to me to get to me and it worked. That’s what God will do. He uses people to speak, to point and direct us back to Him. I see now all the ways God used to try to get my attention, and I see all the ways He protected me from decisions I was making. I see now more than ever that He never left me and never will. 

I believe His love for you is a CAN’T STOP, WON’T STOP type of love—a love that never ends and a love that is always growing. Let’s live today reminded that with that kind of love leading us, we can do anything. We CAN’T STOP, WON’T STOP.
