HEAR // God is close. Stop and think for a moment about what that really means for you and your life. No matter how tough your current circumstance or situation is, God is close to you during that difficulty. He is there to comfort you, help you, and work in your life. Take a few minutes to write down what it means to you—how it makes you feel and how it can help you—that God is close during your hardest experiences. When we begin to trust that God is close to us in our tough times, we might just begin to see those tough times as opportunities for Him to work in us and through us.
