FEARLESS - Boldly Pursuing Jesus And His MissionSample

Once we’ve decided to follow God’s plan, it’s not long before fear begins to creep in - fear of the unknown, fear of our limited resources, fear that our current circumstances don’t align with the promise or direction God has given us. Fear can be crippling, debilitating, paralyzing – but only if we let it.
God sees these fears. He recognizes them and gives us convincing reasons to not allow fear to paralyze us.
For Abraham, God gave him two reasons to not be afraid –
- I will defend you.
- I am your reward.
When we see our Promise-Giver as also our Defender, we can’t help but be encouraged. When we see our Promise-Giver become our reward, and not even necessarily the promise, we’re filled with joy and gratitude.
What fears are holding you back from fully trusting the Promise-Giver?

About this Plan

God has given His people a purpose: to connect everyone to Jesus and his mission. In order to pursue the mission of Jesus, we cannot have a faith that is timid or cowardly. As we spend time looking at the life of Abraham, a man of courageous faith and sacrificial obedience, we will be challenged to be FEARLESS for the mission of Jesus.
