THE POWER OF SAME SPIRIT
Don't Underestimate Him
The Holy Spirit is not a what, but a who.
He is powerful.
He is never-ending.
He is always with us.
He is Jesus.
Scripture promises us that, in Christ, we gain access to the same power that resurrected Jesus from the grave. And we don't have to do anything to earn it; we simply receive it and learn to depend on it everyday.
With His Spirit alive in our hearts, why settle for anything less powerful?
Jesus didn't die for His people to survive the world, but to overcome the world through Him. That's why He offers us His Spirit - it's the only means we have to unify for a purpose greater than anything this world has to offer.
Pray:
Jesus, I'm amazed at Your power. You lived perfectly, and died for us so that we could overcome this world. Please help us find unity among other believers, and draw on the unwavering strength of the Holy Spirit as we work to spread Your Gospel. In Jesus' name, Amen.
