TranquilitySample

Lord, Hear My Prayers
Do you ever seek tranquility away from friends and companions that cover you with bad advice and unwise counsel? Do you struggle to find the words to pray? Worried your prayers for tranquility are never heard?
The theme of this meditation from Proverbs 13 and Romans 8 is prayers that are heard and how the Holy Spirit himself intercedes for you when you are too exhausted to pray. Or when your prayers sound like wordless groans.
About this Plan

This plan will explore an ancient tradition of contemplative prayer based on Matthew 6 “enter your room, shut the door, and pray to God in secret.” It is a practice of worship marked by deep tranquillity in the presence of God. These guided audio meditations will center on invoking the name of Jesus, finding peace through reflection, and discovering the simple peace when we align with God.
