Grow Up!Sample
No more saying, “I’m just a kid!” It’s time to GROW UP!
Kids who act mature set a good example. In fact, kids who act mature can set SUCH a good example, that even grown-ups can notice and follow their example, too! Sometimes grown-ups look down on kids because they’re still acting like babies. It gets frustrating for them. But when kids live godly lives, no matter what their age is, no one should look down on them, because they’re setting an example anyone can copy!
Play Stop and Say to remember 1 Timothy 4:12, and watch the Verse moves video so you can share it with your friends!
Stop and Say
- Write out all of 1 Timothy 4:12 on a piece of paper.
- Draw a stop sign on a different piece of paper.
- Read 1 Timothy 4:12 over and over again as loud as you can.
- Stop reading when your friend holds up the stop sign.
- Start reading again when your friend puts the stop sign down.
- Switch papers with your friend and play again until both of you can say 1 Timothy 4:12 without reading it.
Tell Someone: Why do grown-ups sometimes look down on kids? When should a grown-up look up to a kid?
