HEAR // Being a teenager can be difficult. Whether it’s friendships, relationships, school, or sports, you are living with a lot of expectations and pressure on you. In Psalm 119, the longest chapter of the Bible, nearly every single verse mentions God’s Word. And in this verse, the writer says that, when it comes to navigating your specific stage of life, God’s Word is crucial. The word “obey” here means to observe, keep watch, or guarded. In other words, when it comes to being a teenager, the best thing you can do is keep watch over God’s Word. Allow what He says to guide your decision-making and relationships. To keep your life as pure or clear of regrets as possible, take God’s Word seriously. It won’t disappoint!
