 Just like the shepherds who came to see Jesus in the manger, shepherds have been the stars of some of God’s coolest stories. Though shepherds were never thought of as the “cool” people, these shepherd stories involve some amazing things God has done. No one expected someone like that to do something like that. How can someone uncool be cool? How can someone untalented be talented? The great thing about God:  He can use anyone! Outward appearance or popularity aren’t the most important things in God’s eyes. God looks for someone who loves Him and has a heart fixed on Him. Today’s story involves another famous shepherd - and it’s the least expected kid who got chosen to do one of the most amazing things for God!
