Have you ever had your mind wander in class? Before you know it, your teacher is talking about multiplying integers or the Hundred Years’ War, but you have no idea how they got there! The mind is a tricky thing. Without even trying, it can go off course, making us feel like our minds actually control us! 

In today’s verse, the psalmist talks about focusing on God’s work and how everything God has done is constantly on his mind. What if instead of allowing our minds go all over the place, we used them to focus on God? 

Today, try writing down some things you know to be true about God and what He’s done for you. Then the next time you find your mind wandering, focus on those!
