More Than Sample

A lot of times, God gets our left overs. We fit God in when we have a few minutes in our schedules or during our quiet time for 10 minutes during the day.
But, God doesn’t deserve your left-overs. God deserves your firsts. Give him the best of your time and attention.
Simply giving God your focused time and attention is an act of worship.
One of the best ways to practice this is by being silent before him.
This can be hard to do because we are so busy, our phones are constantly distracting us, and there is always something to be doing or thinking about. You’ve probably already thought about what you need to do after you put this down.
Jesus knew how important this was and made it a habit to regularly get away to a silent place to spend time with his Father. We could all learn from Jesus’ example.
Take 5 minutes right now to be silent with God. Do what you need to to eliminate distractions. Find a quiet place, turn off your phone, and close your eyes if you need to. Give God your full attention.

About this Plan

We were created to worship. But, what do we mean when we talk about worship? In this plan, we’ll talk about what worship is, why we worship, and how.
