Summoned: Stepping Up to Live and Lead With JesusSample
Mentors
Mentors can keep you in the game, help you avoid plateauing in your development, keep you listening to God and maintaining a learning posture. In short, they connect you with God-given resources that empower your personal and professional development. Over the course of our lives, we’ll need several mentors and mentors of different types. They’ll come from inside and outside our organizations.
Some will be our peers, some will be our “juniors,” and some will be above us on the organizational chart or in age and life experience. Who’s been a significant mentor to you thus far? What kind of relationship did you share with that person? What resource did the mentor pass along? In what way were you empowered to grow as a result of the mentoring relationship?
To whom could you now be a mentor?

About this Plan
You have been summoned. Life is complicated, and sometimes we feel stuck or adrift. But God has been at work in your life, and he's still working in you. God is calling men to a deeper life of faith, surrender and commitment. You can learn to recognize where he's leading you and what he's calling you to become.
