Walking In Victory Sample
It looked like the Gibeonites couldn't avoid war. They had made peace with Israel, but now their former allies wanted to destroy them. A confederation of kings reunited to go to battle against Gibeon and the Gibeonites run to ask Joshua to defend them.
The Israelites came upon those Amorite kings and they fled before Israel. God had promised Joshua the victory and they, by faith, continued to fight bravely. Remember this promise. Remember that God had told Joshua not to be afraid because He had given him the victory and He was fighting with them. Joshua didn't wait passively for the defeat of the Amorites. He made a strategy, marched up all night and continued to fight. He even prayed for the sun to stop to be able to have a longer day and finish the battle.
Joshua prayed for God to perform a miracle and do something sensational and He responded. Those crazy dreams you have? Those crazy things you think God can ́t do? For God, all things are possible. He stopped the sun when Joshua asked Him to do it. He can do anything. Are you asking for those things that you think are too difficult? Joshua waited on God and fought in faith. When you pray for the impossible, do your part. Don ́t stop fighting. Rest in faith until God answers your prayer.
Dear Lord, I pray for the “impossibles” in my life. I pray for all those things that, to my eyes, are too hard and only You can do. Help me wait in faith and continue to fight my battles. In Jesus name. Amen.

About this Plan
The book of Joshua teaches us to remember the promises God has given us and to trust God in everything He gives us to do. The same God who was with Joshua and the Israelites is with us today. He has given us the same promises and He wants us to claim the inheritance He has already given us. We pray this study helps you start walking in victory!
