True North: Leading Your Family SpirituallySample

To become a Godly Spiritual Leader, you must have a desire to learn. For example; if you are struggling financially, consider participating in Dave Ramsay Financial Peace University. Maybe you should read a book about debt management and budgeting?
Maybe it’s your marriage? You and your wife are constantly fighting and both of you are ready to end it. Don’t call a divorce attorney. Instead, call a marriage counselor or look for marriage retreats in your area. If you feel like you do not know how to manage your children, then read some parenting books or talk to your mentor who has gone through this. Filing for bankruptcy? Seek out a financial counselor.
Be honest with your family, and let them know that you don’t have all of the answers, but that you are choosing to be humble to ask for help. If your family never witnesses you admitting weakness or inadequacy, do you think they will admit theirs in the future? Let them see it is ok to ask for help and allow God to meet their needs.
Question: What area of your life do you feel inadequate in? How can you share this with your family?
