Help Others Get Connected! Part 1Sample
Look For Those On The Outside!
There are always some students who show up on campus ready to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. They know all the verses and all the Bible stories by heart. Some actually live out the truths of those verses. That maybe you! I certainly hope so.
I would like you to stop for a moment and pray today for those who are not like you. How can you encourage folks who are far away from God to get involved with your campus ministry or local church? Where are the people most believers think will never want to hang out with them?
That was Zacchaeus before Jesus stopped under the tree where he was hiding. All it took was an invitation by Jesus. Not to His house, but Jesus invited himself to Zacchaeus’ crib. I think we can learn something from that encounter about reaching those outsiders on our campus. Sometimes we have to go to their place first!
Jesus came to seek and save the lost. It’s rare these days to find the lost seeking our groups to find Jesus. It seems our days are not much different than the early church days. Maybe Jesus wants us to start seeking out the outsiders too!

About this Plan
Last year we released 21 Days To Connect: Anchoring Your College Life. This year, we want to help you help others connect with this series of devotions. It’s designed to encourage you to invest the first 21 days of the semester to helping others find the purpose and joy in Jesus that you have found, along with the connection to a solid community of other believers. Part 1 of 3.
