Epic (Part 3): The Storyline Of The BibleSample

Both Jeroboam and Rehoboam turn away from God and worship other gods, and both suffer for their disobedience. Jeroboam knew enough to seek out a prophet of God, but still didn’t follow God.
It’s easy to fall into a pattern of seeking God’s input but not taking his advice. People read their Bibles, but don’t change as a result. People get godly advice from church leaders or friends, but continue to make the same mistakes.

About this Plan

This is part three of a four part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one epic story of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
