Epic (Part 3): The Storyline Of The BibleSample

Another fun story of Elisha providing for someone. Again the story highlights a person who could easily be overlooked, a little servant girl. So God uses the faith of someone small to instruct a mighty warrior and a king. Naaman is also interesting in that his healing requires humility, both to listen to a girl and to bathe in a dirty river.
You may feel weak and unimportant, but God can use your faith to accomplish great things. The outcome of your steps of faith may not be obvious when you take them, but God can use them in great ways.

About this Plan

This is part three of a four part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one epic story of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
