"Sexodus" Relationships DevotionalSample

Foxes
The 'foxes' that spoil the vineyards are the little things that creep into our lives and slowly destroy our relationships. In marriage, the foxes typically look like gradually spending less time together, ceasing to talk to each other about serious things or even everyday things, and taking each other for granted. These foxes can and will sprout up for everyone throughout the course of a relationship - it's our job to stay on top of them and refuse to allow them to create divides in our marriage. The enemy will seek to destroy our marriage through division: God seeks to strengthen it through unity in Him.
If you're planning to get married, meet with your significant other and consider creating a 'battle plan' of sorts: ways to avoid falling into these traps. Decide ahead of time not to allow the foxes to steal your marriage from you.
