Who Is God?Sample

Can we know God?
These verses show us that we should not assume to be able to know God. For God is far greater than us (Is 55:8-9). He dwells in unapproachable light, we do not know his mind or understand his ways. As Moses could not see God’s face lest he die, we too cannot fully see God in his glory lest we be destroyed (Ex 33:20). However, God has made it possible for us to know him.
Prayer:
God, you are glorious – I cannot comprehend your thoughts or your ways. Give me a humble heart as I come to your word seeking to know you. Help me, though I am small, to know you more and more. Amen.
