Who Is God?Sample

God is Eternal and Omnipresent
God is not bound by time or place. He relates to the world in time and place but he is not contained within it.
He has no beginning or end and sees all of time. The Psalms tells us that he is from everlasting to everlasting. Humans return to dust and while God has given humans the gift of eternal life, they are not eternal as God is eternal. God has always been and he is the giver of life. He is immortal. Humans depend on God for life - to begin and to continue.
God is infinite, he is everywhere. Jeremiah tells us that God fills heaven and earth (Jer 23:24). Solomon says that even heaven and the highest heaven can’t contain God (1 Kg 8:27).
Agree or Disagree: ‘The Creator is not just a bigger, more impressive version of creation. He is something else entirely.’ What are the implications?
Prayer:
God, you are far beyond my understanding. You are not bound by time or space, but you are able to act within them with complete control. Thank you for making time and space in which we can exist and know you. Amen.
