Recognise the role and purpose God has given you. Ask Him for the resilience you need to fulfil that role.
As Joshua takes on the leadership of the Israelites, the Lord speaks to him, reminding Joshua of his identity and role, promising to be with him, and encouraging him to read God’s instruction manual day and night. These will be the keys that enable Joshua, now an old man, to remain resilient as he fulfils his God-appointed task. In this prayer journey, we will explore God’s keys for resilience in our lives.

Whether confronted with difficult life events or extended periods of pressure, resilience helps us to emerge stronger, wiser, and with a deeper faith. Yet such resilience is not automatic – it involves behaviours, thoughts, and actions that are learned and practised over time. This 40-day prayer journey helps us develop practices to grow that resilience.
