Growing In Resilience: A Prayer JourneySample

Energy Drain: Unhealed Wounds
‘Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you’.
Many of us go through life as the walking wounded—wounds received through the actions, words, rejection, betrayal, or insensitivity of others. These wounds can become infected, and infected wounds don’t heal. Unhealed wounds drain our energy.
So, let’s clean our wounds of all bitterness and unforgiveness and then come to God for healing.

About this Plan

Whether confronted with difficult life events or extended periods of pressure, resilience helps us to emerge stronger, wiser, and with a deeper faith. Yet such resilience is not automatic – it involves behaviours, thoughts, and actions that are learned and practised over time. This 40-day prayer journey helps us develop practices to grow that resilience.
