He calls you.
It can be powerful to trace the history of your faith. Did anyone leave a legacy for you that led you to Jesus? Did a friend tell you about Him? Did your family take you to church? Who led that person or those people to Jesus? It’s interesting to trace back as far as you can, because it shows that God has been faithful and each person has been faithful to live out his or her calling.
When we follow Jesus, God gives us purpose and a calling. No matter our age or our circumstances, or even how long we’ve been following Jesus, we are all called to love God and love people. That plays out in our character, our attitude, our speech, our friendships, our families, etc. The way we live and love people is the way we lead them to Jesus.
Do you know that you have that calling? God has placed a calling on YOUR life that only you can live out. He gave you a specific set of gifts, a unique personality, and a life journey specific to you so that you can be used for His Kingdom. You just get to decide whether or not to say yes to that call. How will you live out the calling He has placed on you?
