Book of 2 Chronicles Sample

LIVING FOR CHRIST
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell. (Philippians 1:21-22 ESV)
When Paul was in prison in Rome, he wrote letters to the church at Philippi. The Apostle Paul tells us that being a follower of Christ does not mean escape from problems, but that God will give ability to pass through the problems. Paul faced many challenges which often brought risk to his life.
The life that God entrusts us today is an opportunity to work through and produce good things by faithfully caring what is entrusted to us.
Paul was a determined person having a committed, purpose-driven life. Commitment gives us the ability to hold on, even if the conditions or circumstances are difficult.
Do not live your life by just coasting through it. This person is always dependent on circumstances or situations having a "yo-yo" faith based on his feelings. When he feels happy, his faith rises, but when life is hard, he loses his faith.
"Those who trust their own insight are foolish, but anyone who walks in wisdom is safe." Proverbs 28:26 NLT
What about our life? Have we worked out this life for His glory? May we always be strengthened to live in Christ and to His Glory. Amen.
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Phil. 1:21
