Book of 2 Chronicles Sample

WHY WORRY?
A person facing anxiety will find various ways to calm himself. Some even use drugs, alcohol, or sedatives to escape their worries.
We worry about the clothes we were, the future of our children, about our finances, etc. Let us realise that fear can destroy our lives.
Paul had many reasons to be anxious. He could have worried about the congregations he pioneered, his health, his ministries, or about the finances to fund his ministries. But Paul decided to put his burden before God in prayer.
As children of God, we should not be worried, because our God is able to bless and guard us. When we are worried, we are trying to shift the burden from the strong shoulders of God to our weak shoulders.
Prayer and worries cannot abide together because each will push out the other. When we pray, we are filling every space in our lives with power from God so that under any circumstance we will be able to give thanks. We have power that sustains us from within.
Why try to carry your anxiety when you can shift it onto the strong shoulders of God?
