River Valley Church SOAP - Part 2Sample

Jesus uses many parables and stories to represent those who he is speaking to. Some reject him, others are still not sure and there are some who receive his message with joy. John the Baptist is killed by Herod and when Jesus hears this, he is grieved. Although he goes to the wilderness to be alone, the crowds follow him and he looks on them with compassion and performs the miracle of feeding the 5,000, which is referred to in all 4 gospels.
