How to Love by FaithSample

Everyone's greatest need is to love and be loved. Most psychologists agree that our greatest need is to love and be loved. There is no barrier that cannot be dissolved with the mighty force of love --God's love. Love never fails.
The Bible says that without love we are nothing more than loud noises. Unless you love others by God's power, you will be nothing more than loud noises; nothing fruitful will be produced. As you learn to love by faith you will be able to practically love other Christians as well as non-Christians. God's love will increasingly be built into your life and flow through others. One way you will demonstrate love will be by taking the initiative to present the Gospel to those who do not know Christ.
Three Greek words for love.
- Eros means sensual desire and is not used in the New Testament.
- Phileo is used for friendship and affection.
- Agape is God's supernatural and unconditional love. It is love in its purest and deepest form. It is not based only on emotions but on an act one's will. It is love because of the character of the person doing the loving, rather than because of the object of that love is worthy.
