Five Principles of God's Love

Principle 4: We must love with God's love.

We cannot create love by our own strength and effort. True love does not come from man. The source is God, who is love, according to the Bible.

Back to Jan's story. God knew she wanted to see Him work in this area of her life. He brought the concept of loving by faith to her attention. She began to realize that Romans 5:5 was an accomplished fact. The love of God had already been put in her heart through the Holy Spirit. She had the love she needed to be able to love Sarah but there was one more she had to learn in order to express God's love practically. She must love by faith.
