GO2020 | ENGAGE: March Week 4 – CARESample

March 28 – By Having a Glad Heart
Read
Psalm 100:2; Philippians 4:4
Reflect
When we serve others, we are actually serving God, and we are commanded to serve God with gladness. We are to rejoice always, even when we serve. Through our service, we are putting on display Christ’s deep love for the world.
Engage
Read today’s Scripture passages. Say or write them out in your own words, considering the following questions:
· What do they say about God?
· What do they say about us?
· Is there a promise to trust?
· Is there a command to obey?
· How will I apply these Scriptures to my life?
· Who will I show that I care by sharing these truths?
Memorize
Now read this week’s memory verse, Psalm 100:2. Spend a few minutes committing it to memory.

About this Plan

Is it possible to help others in such a way that it pushes them further from Christ rather than draws them toward him? When we serve others, we are actually serving God, and we are commanded to serve God with gladness (Psalm 100:2). Let’s look to God’s Word to better understand how we should care for and serve others.
