Covid-19 | Faith Over FearSample
Choosing Faith In The God Who Saves
Uncertainty is a part of life. Unexpected change is inevitable and can often lead to fear and anxiety. In times of great trouble, it is easy to begin to fear the unknown. We have concerns for our finances. We worry for the people we love. There is fear we will lose the life we have. We begin to rely on our own understanding and forget to rely on God. Brandon Heath talks about the power of choosing faith over fear in times of hardship.Listen to Brandon |
It is easy to trust in the Lord when life is going well. While this is true, we must remember to keep that trust when life is filled with challenges. Brandon Heath compared faith to being our “lifeline to the Lord.” We can have faith in our God for He provides what we truly need. He has redeemed us and called us by our name! We are saved! For that reason, we do not have to fear the things of this world. We can be confident in the good news that He has given us. Do not let fear “poison” the richness of God’s provision for your life. In these hard times remember to resist the desire to rely on your own understanding. Instead choose to have faith in the God who saves.

About this Plan
Jesus lived in a time when there was a constant state of fear. It was not an easy time to be living in Roman occupied Israel. They had many of the same emotions that we face today with the uncertainty of the Covid-19, Coronavirus pandemic. The guests on this seven-day audio devotional will help you gain some insight into how Jesus helps us live when surrounded by fear.
