Times of Crisis: Hope During COVID-19Sample

Did you ever notice how, in the dead of night, things seem to take on a bigger dimension and emotions get blown out of proportion? Fear is more intense, and anger is greater. In the dark of the night, it becomes more difficult to discern what is dangerous from what is harmless.
Picture yourself waking up in the dark, in the midst of the uncertainties of a pandemic with danger on all sides. The fear of what you cannot see, predict, or prevent begins to heighten. All you need now is a pulsating rhythm and the sound of the dissonant violins to make your own personal scary movie.
But, you are sheltered in God’s safe house, under His protection. You can wake up in the middle of the night without fear. Real or imaginary, the fears that grip everyone in the dead of night will not affect you because you are under God's protection, caressed by the love of the Creator of Heaven and Earth. There can be no better protection. You are safe.
