And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
In order to encourage others to trust us as leaders, we need to offer trust to others. Yes, that means opening ourselves up to hurt and potential loss, but that’s our burden as leaders. We must remember the depth of God’s love for us (and those we’re leading!) far surpasses any pain we experience on earth.
God, give me great faith so I can remember the width and depth and height of Your love for myself and for others. I ask that all of us, separated physically but together in spirit, would experience Your fullness.
