Seeking Godly Wisdom Amidst the UnknownSample

How amazing is it that even though as humans we are beset with weaknesses and limitations, we have access to the wisdom and strength of God! In 1 Corinthians, we are reminded that even our wisest human moments are far outweighed by the pure wisdom of God. The world around us is obsessed with the self-sufficient and individualistic “you do you” mentality. We are encouraged to “seek our truth” and make decisions that are best for ourselves. Yet, Solomon warns us throughout Proverbs that if our hearts are filled with worldly idols, we will become our source of wisdom. We have the opportunity today to choose our source.
Talk it over
What tough decisions are you making right now?
What sources are you turning to for advice? What are they recommending? Take some time to be alone with the Lord to talk to him about it.
