Seeking Godly Wisdom Amidst the UnknownSample
Paul’s desire for the Ephesians was to not trust in their own wisdom, but to rely on the wisdom God provides (Ephesians 1:8). God has gifted those who belong to him with wisdom from above. As human beings, it is easy for us to turn to others first for advice instead of God, whether it be a friend, a parent, spouse, or significant other.
It is important for us to pray for the insight to discern what is godly wisdom and what is not. The Lord often provides wise counselors to speak his truths to us and help us with making difficult decisions.
Talk it over
Are you in the midst of a season that seems impossible to discern what’s next? There is freedom in knowing that God’s will for your life is not for you to solve on your own. Ask your Father day by day to guide your next steps.
