Gathered AgainSample

Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him…

Our gathering is a foreshadow of what will take place when the Lord gathers all His children to Himself. We will surely be gathered with Him in the resurrection. What a glorious celebration that will be!

So until that day comes, let us continue to gather in His name and share the Word of the Lord with everyone we can. The disruption of gathered worship caused by the pandemic can be unsettling and cause some to question the validity of the church and her message. Do not join in with that crowd.

It seems there were those even in the early days of the church who listened to the wrong messages. They believed they had somehow missed the resurrection because of false teachings that had crept into the church. Paul reminded them, and so reminds us, that it will get worse before it gets better. 

But remember the end of the story! WE ARE GATHERED WITH HIM! In the end, the believers will be with our Lord. Keep your eyes up my friends. Even as we gather, we look forward and upward to a greater gathering!
