Paul reminds believers of the role of the Holy Spirit. Those who surrender their lives to God through Jesus Christ are given the gift of the Holy Spirit who fills, indwells, and permeates within us reminding us that we are now the perfection and righteousness of our Savior. The Holy Spirit is central to believers, working within us to align our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with God through prayer. When we yield to the Holy Spirit, we can be assured that we are aligned with Almighty God Himself.

How often do you find yourself submitting your thought life and prayer life to the Holy Spirit? Will you pray for the Lord to align your life with His will for you?

Father God, I thank You for Your gift of the Holy Spirit, who has taught me more about myself and about You than I could have ever imagined. Help me, Lord, to remain submitted to the Holy Spirit that I may remain aligned with Your will for my life. Thank You for loving me so much that You have gifted me with my very own Teacher, Guide, Advocate, and Prayer Warrior. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
