SOAP – 1 Samuel 1:20
Hannah prayed to the Lord for a child. After years of ridicule, weeping, and anguish, the Lord answers her prayer with the birth of Samuel. Hannah was persistent in prayer and fasting even though she had no idea whether the Lord would answer her prayer. She remained faithful and persistent in her worship of Him. Likewise, believers should remain persistent in our prayer, our worship, and our dedication to the Lord whether He answers in our favor or not. The blessing is not in the God answer to the believer, but in the privilege to be able to speak to our Holy God.
What prayers are you losing hope for? Will you ask God to help you endure and persist in prayer and worship just as Hannah did?
Father God, You are the God whose love perseveres with me through every situation. Lord, help me to endure when I believe I have nothing else left. Help me to continue to praise and worship you when I may not see Your work. Remind me that You never sleep nor slumber, but are very active in the lives of those You love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

About this Plan
Most of us know prayer is speaking to God, but it’s so much more than that. It is communion with God - the experience of fellowship that allows us to draw near to Him and find help when we need it. Join us in our study as we seek to answer questions like, “How should we pray?”, “What should we pray for?” and “Does God hear our prayers?” PLEASE NOTE: This plan is setup to be five days per week with two days off. You will notice two days each week without content.
