God gifts believers generously of Himself. He gifts us with His Son, His Spirit, His love, His presence, His blessings, and the list goes on and on. Believers are called to share all that we have been given so that God will be glorified. Sacrificial giving of our love, our prayers, our money, our time, our talents and our gifts show that we trust the Lord to continue to provide, supply, and replenish all of those things in our lives. It shows that He truly is the center of our hearts.

In what areas of your life do you need to reflect God’s generosity? Will you pray today for God to help you to trust that He will replenish all that you give away?

Father God, You are our generous Provider with the universe’s resources at Your fingertips. You are our generous God who pours selflessly into our lives, not expecting anything in return. Lord, forgive us when we withhold from You and from Your people. Lord, forgive us when we allow doubt and fear to prevent us from giving You our all, from sacrificing and sharing. Thank You, Lord, for continuing to pour over and over into our lives despite our failings and our apprehension. Thank You for giving everything to me generously, selflessly, and unconditionally. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
