Faith Light bulb:

To judge is to be judged! Boy, oh boy this passage shares a powerful message. One that lies outside of ourselves. God spoke a mighty word when He said “the amount you give will determine the amount you get back”. MESSAGE! That statement alone says that what you sow out into the world, you get back in return. Meaning, if you give of yourself, your time, your gifts and/or your money, you get it back in return. Not necessarily in the same form, but something that you have prayed to God for, will manifest in His timing. This is where the golden rule comes into play. Do unto others as you would want done unto you. Be careful how you treat people, because you could be entertaining an angel or you could get it back tenfold. So spread love and light into the world. Speak the Good News of how God has brought you through or blessed you with something you prayed for. The bible is a love story. It’s a book of how God shows His love over and over again. He wants to bless you...in abundance. So, when He does, make sure you know that when you are blessed, you are to pay it forward and bless others as well. You may do this through empowering others, inspiring others, serving others, praying for others, teaching others & supporting others. This is what we call selfless acts of kindness. Performing good works that are done genuinely out of love and the desire to be like God. So, when you interact with people every single day, encourage them to be who God has designed them to be. Motivate them to seek His Word to know the truth about how God wants us to treat His children. 

Act on It:

How have you been blessed in the last year or few months? Did you take time to thank God for His blessings? How have you used your blessings to be a blessing to others? This does not have to mean a monetary blessing, but use your gifts to inspire or bless others. Even if you were only to reach one soul, that within itself is a blessing! So, start today at determining how you can be a blessing to others in the community. While you are sharing your gifts, be sure to praise God and give thanks for all that He has done for you. 

Pray About It:

Heavenly Father, 

We thank you for taking us on this journey of finding ourselves by way of your Word. It is because of your love, guidance and many teachings that we are able to pay it forward to bring others closer to you as well. We were put on this earth to do great things. In order for us to fully receive what you have planned; we must release all that holds us back. We must forgive and pray for those who have hurt us and we must love those in need. When others are going through their seasons, we must pray for them and guide them to your Word. Thank you for being our teacher and we pray that we are successful at being your student. We know that before we can pass judgement or coach the next, we must first make sure that we are right within ourselves. Help instill within us the fruits of the spirit, so that can share those good fruits with others. Forgives us for our sins, oh Lord. The only Will we desire to follow is your Will God.
