21 Days to Connect: Anchoring Your College Life Week 3Sample

My dad used to say something many other parents tell their kids, “Remember what you do reflects on our last name!” He wanted to make sure I knew that who I belonged to should affect how I lived my life. Maybe that’s why God entrusted John with the words we read from today’s scripture passage. It was God who had the desire for us to become His children. It’s not really something we did, all we did was receive Him! But being His should make a great difference in how we live. Our lives should reflect our Father in heaven. So go show Jesus and the Father to your campus today!
“Father I want to be an example of a true believer today. May my words, my actions, my effort in class, and my attention to others be reflective of the way you would want me to live. May I point others to Jesus today as one of your children!”

About this Plan

The college years can be an awesome time in a person's life. They can also be a time when believers drift from their faith. The difference is often whether one gets connected to other believers, a campus ministry, and a local church. This plan will help you explore what God's Word says about getting connected on your campus.
