A Leader You Can Trust Sample

Day 06: Navigating Rough Waters
Pray
Lord God, quiet my soul and open my mind and heart to receive Your Word. Amen.
Read
Mark 4:35-41
Reflect
The disciples were experts at sailing, and they knew these waters well. Why then were they so frightened? How did they talk to Jesus? What did Jesus do? When bad things happen in our lives, how do we respond? Do we turn to God? What does this passage teach us about how much God cares for us and how He is more powerful than our problems?
Respond
God, when I am worried or afraid, help me to trust in You, and to have Your peace. Amen.

About this Plan

Life gives us roles, but not scripts. We need a leader with vision, clear direction, and a willingness to do hard things for the greater good. In the Bible, Jesus is referred to as “Lord,” which means boss or commander. He can give you the guidance to transform every aspect of your life. In this plan, you’ll learn about the life and miracles of Jesus recorded by his first followers.
