Matthew: Part 2Sample

The Jewish people had 613 different laws to follow. That’s a lot of laws! So, a man came to Jesus and asked Him, “what is the most important law out of all 613?”

Jesus took all of the laws and summed it up with this, “You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.” And, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Love God and love other people.

Now you might be thinking, “Jesus - that’s two. The guy asked for one.”

Jesus wasn’t bad at math. What He was doing was saying when you love God with everything you have, you will love others. That’s just what happens. 

And, you show you love God when you love others. 

How can you show God’s love to someone today? Today, do one random act of kindness to practice showing God’s love to others.
