Live Well In Covid Times

DAY 22 OF 30

Psalm 27:13 NKJV

I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Hope is so important. The one quality that was common to the survivors of the horrific concentration camps of the Nazis was - hope. They believed that this is not the end. Even while thousands died around them, for them it wasn’t the end.

The day Jesus died must have been a day of great disappointment for His disciples. The next three days must have been worse, as their whole world came crashing down. Every dream shattered.

They couldn’t even remember that Jesus had said that He would rise again! They couldn’t look beyond the situation they were in. That’s what happens when we lose hope.

Psalm 16:10 NLT

For You will not leave my soul among the dead or allow Your Holy One to rot in the grave.

This is prophetically written about Jesus. He knew God would not allow Him to remain in the grave! There would be a resurrection! This situation is not the end. Don’t listen to the lies of the enemy. Only believe that you will see the goodness of the Lord now - in the land of the living!

Meditate:

* Mark 10:34 NKJV

and they will mock Him, and scourge Him, and spit on Him, and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again.

Pray:

* Thank the Lord for His Word that stands forever!

* Pray over yourself the promises God has given you.

* Jesus is our living hope. Declare hope over our city and nation.
