River Valley Church SOAP - Part 11Sample
Paul was captured and sent to the city of Caesarea on charges from the Jewish leaders to stand before the Roman officials. Festus, the Roman governor of this region, had just taken leadership and had this case brought to him. Not sure how to handle this situation because there are no Roman laws that have been broken, Festus consulted King Agrippa II to determine how to handle this situation. King Agrippa II was the son of King Agrippa and great Grandson of King Herod, who tried Jesus. Paul was able to share his testimony with King Agrippa II of how he met Jesus on the road to Damascus as he was on his way to harm more followers of the Way. Paul eventually appeals his case to be brought to Ceaser in Rome because of his Roman Citizenship.
