River Valley Church SOAP - Part 11Sample

Acts Chapter 7 deals with the defense of Stephen, a disciple and deacon in the early church, who was moving among the people performing miracles and preaching. The high priests of the synagogues grew angry and jealous of Stephen and accused him of blasphemy.
Stephen was stoned. He was one of the first martyrs and there were many more like him who were martyred in the years that followed.
Among the Somali people, there is about .33% who are evangelical Christians. Let's pray that these believers would be bold in sharing their faith, and that they would be filled with the Spirit to find creative ways to share Jesus in a land that is desperate for light.
